A materials specialist, a seasoned space planner, and a highly resourceful creative, Alfonsina R. Waters is a designer of experiences. With a decade of experience in commercial, residential and hospitality design, Alfonsina founded her eponymous interior design studio to deliver beautiful and thoughtfully designed spaces that are value add and enhance the experience of the end user.
After receiving a BA in Communications with dual minors in Marketing and Psychology from Brooklyn College, Alfonsina left the Public Relations and events world to pursue a full-time degree in interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Specializing in hospitality design and FF&E, she joined Joe Ginsberg Design as a key specifier and FF&E designer, where she developed a keen understanding of luxury hospitality and residential interiors as well as an appreciation for materials and the artisanal, hands on process of design. Alfonsina also worked at Helpern Architects, gaining practical experience and further expanding her skill set to a variety of markets including workplace, multi-family areas, and completed a design package for a 290-key Marriott Property in Times Square.
Alfonsina’s "default" style is minimalist-industrial and contemporary. Her work conveys versatility when adapting to individual client requirements, but always rooted in modern functionality.
