Alfonsina Romero-Waters launched ARNY to deliver beautiful and thoughtfully designed spaces that are aesthetic and purposeful. Alfonsina has 12 years of experience in hospitality and residential design, and an expert in translating her clients visions into reality. Her background in public relations and events gives her a unique perspective on creating spaces that not only look stunning but also evoke specific emotions and experiences.

 

Alfonsina's educational background began with a BA in Communications, and dual minors in Marketing and Psychology, from Brooklyn College. Prior to shifting her creative energy into the world of interior design, Alfonsina embarked on a career in public relations and events, as well as in the nightlife, promoting for some of New York City’s most prominent clubs at the time.

 

In 2008 Alfonsina began her professional studies in interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Between internships and jobs, she continued her work in PR and events.  

 

Alfonsina has tenured in NY hospitality firms: Joe Ginsberg Design (Marmara Park Ave), Helpern Architects (AC Hotel Times Square, 212 Fifth Avenue) and a brief stint at Icrave (Dallas Cowboys Co-work, Starrett Lehigh Market) as an FF&E interior designer and key specifier for some of the mentioned projects in hospitality, workplace design and luxury residential. 

 

From conceptualization to launch, ARNY projects are diverse and experiential. Alfonsina’s portfolio list includes restaurants in New York and and Miami, public areas in multi-family developments, sales offices, and private residential. For Alfonsina, interior design is so more than just a profession—(and existing clients know this) it is a lifestyle and a commitment to creating environments that inspire and uplift.
