Alfonsina R. Waters launched ARNY to deliver beautiful and thoughtfully designed spaces that are both visually captivating and purposeful. With a decade of experience in hospitality and residential design, Alfonsina has an innate ability to translate her clients visions into reality.

Alfonsina's educational background began with a BA in Communications, and dual minors in Marketing and Psychology, from Brooklyn College. Prior to channeling her creative energy into the world of interior design, Alfonsina embarked on a career in public relations and events. However, her unwavering love for creating and designing spaces led her to make a career transition. She pursued a full-time degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Between internships and jobs, she continued her work in events planning, as well as nightlife promoting for some of New York City’s most prominent clubs.

Throughout her tenures in top NYC hospitality firms, Alfonsina's roles as a key specifier and FF&E interior designer helped her shape a keen understanding of luxury hospitality and residential interiors, as well as an appreciation for materials and the artisanal, hands-on process of design. Her background in public relations and events gives her a unique perspective on creating spaces that not only look stunning but also evoke specific emotions and experiences.

In addition to her specialization in hospitality, Alfonsina boasts an expanded skill set in diverse markets such as workplace design and multi-family. Notably, she completed an interior design package for a 290-key Marriott property located in Times Square.

Alfonsina's work reflects versatility, adapting to the unique requirements of each project and client while maintaining a signature DNA. It is why repeat clients are the pulse of ARNY. For Alfonsina R. Waters, interior design is more than just a profession—it is a passion and a commitment to creating extraordinary environments that inspire and uplift.
