Design at ALFONSINA ROMERO starts with a question. Not a style, not a formula, but point of view that is tested, refined, and built into form.

We work with strong materiality, natural texture and instinct to shape environments that register emotionally and hold up in real life. The same thinking carries through everything we create, from interiors to the experiences around them. With a background in Communications, PR and formal interior design training at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I entered the industry through hospitality procurement, contributing to projects including Dream Hotel and W Miami. I went on to work as an interior designer within New York firms, developing projects for both boutique and branded hotels. Today, as founder at ALFONSINA ROMERO, I lead work across a range of scales, from public-facing environments to private residences and Caribbean retreats. ALFONSINA ROMERO projects include renovations, new builds, space planning, custom furniture, lighting, materials and FF&E, with a strong focus on how architecture and interiors work together.
